Expert Space Training and Space Course Design
Course Design/Validation with AppSpace Solutions, Inc
Space awareness is all about matching the message to the receiver. AppSpace has experience designing, developing and conducting space courses to meet the needs of diverse communities such as the military, civil institutions and academia. We have also been privileged to have been able to create basic and advanced programs for high school students.
During his time in the military, Wayne A. Ellis conducted many 1-week short courses on space applications, and applied a comprehensive process to achieving and responding to attendee feedback for content and delivery optimization.

Responding to identified deficiencies, Wayne A. Ellis was instrumental in forming and managing the team to design, develop and deliver a Space Operations Course (SOC) to meet the needs of operational units requiring specific space awareness competencies.
In 2005, Wayne A. Ellis conducted a General and Senior Officers’ Space Seminar (GSOSS) at the Canadian Space Agency, again filling a need for space awareness at a very specific level.
Also while with the military, Wayne A. Ellis was part of a course re-design process for the one-year Aerospace Systems Course, to which he designed, developed and delivered content for both space and RADAR systems.
Starting in 2005, Wayne A. Ellis begin his affiliation with the WinCube Project, to which he contributed a specially-tailored program for high school students interested in science and technology. Originally held at the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Studies, the Manitoba Space Adventure Camp has now been migrated to the University of Manitoba to become one of its many courses offered during the summer.

Also as part of WinCube, in order to address the need for the participants to gain a broad understanding of the space system development process, Wayne A. Ellis designed and delivered a multi-part Introductory Aerospace Design Course (IADC).
"Wayne is a consummate professional with extensive expertise in space education. While at CFSAS he maintained and delivered the Space Applications Course, the General and Senior Officers Space Operations Symposium, and the Aerospace Systems Course space theory and applications syllabus. He was also instrumental to the development of the school's Space Operations Course. In addition to his normal workload, Wayne also led the school's activities supporting the Manitoba Space Adventure Camp, and he has written several articles on space applications and operations for newspapers and journals." - Maj Scott Guenther, Aerospace Technologies Flight Commander
